Renmin Square

Once known as Stalin Square, due to a large monument in memory of the Northeast liberation by the Soviet army, it was changed to its present name in 1994. The monument was taken from the square in 1999 and replaced by a massive European-style fountain and white marble cloister. It is the place to gawk at government buildings and to spend a leisurely summer day watching locals fly kites and maneuvering through morning exercises

Russian Street

As one of the most dynamic cities in North China, Dalian never fails to innovate in new attractions. This street, which epitomizes 19th century Russia, was created to add an exotic touch to the seaside city. Numerous duty-free shops, supermarkets, antique stores and painting shops sell East European goods. For entertainment, Russian artists dazzle the crowds with their skills in acrobatics, ballet and love ballads

Bin Hai Road

Bin Hai Road stretches along Dalian's well  known coastline and is a sightseeing must for visitors to the area. The 35-kilometer-long road borders Xing Hai Square in the west and Dong Hai Park in the east. One side of the road features mountainous areas covered with forests while the opposite side reveals the panoramic coastline and sea.  Tourist facilities dot the road.
