North Tomb

3 Situated in Beiling Park, this well known place is one of the area's principal attractions. It took eight years to build and now houses the burial site of Huang Taiji, the founder of the Qing Dynasty. A path leading to the tomb's entrance is marked with statues of elephants, lions and horses. Combined with the surrounding cedar trees this site makes for a dramatic setting.
