Taipei Financial Center
Taipei 101 is a landmark skyscraper located in Taipei, with 101 floors, Designed by C.Y. Lee & Partners and constructed by KTRT Joint Venture, and since 2004 it is the tallest building in the world. Its original name was Taipei Financial Center, but for its 101 floors got its nickname, Taipei 101. The interior is as impressive as its size, being the most technologically advanced skyscraper constructed to date, with fiber optics, satellite Internet connections, doubledecker elevators with a speed of 37.5 mph or 16.83 meters per second, and features 6 floor malls, restaurants, nightclubs, all within a retro gothic style and feng shui master design.
